North here we come! Orcs await…

August 25, 2012 by   Filed under: Arsenal FC, Premier League, Transfers

So as the heading goes we are off North tomorrow morning, this is not a special treatment from the club either, the lads are going there to earn three points end off!

So Sahin deal did not come off in the end, to me it wasn’t a final transfer deal to be honest. When Jack W comes back to full fitness and takes to field his presence becomes rather obsolete so we have lost and gained at the same time without spending big bucks! Frankly I have never heard of him until now which is strange because I’m always in the know how place.

You could say the club is eyeing up every penny and somewhat shame on us for not bringing him in, however we have a structure and a wage bill to consider. A loaned player cannot make more than the current lads in the squad I believe we offered £2 Million and a buyout clause. Liverhoof beat us with £5 million and a staggering £115000 a week. Considering their situation they are heading for disaster already!

Stoke here we come then, it will be a good and physical stern test for the new lads as we know nothing comes easy off over there even Tony Pubes hat for that matter. Defence needs to be tight especial on those set pieces that stick of a man can always cause damage. The only area which I think we are a bit short is the hrrrrrrr DM Arteta is not that kind of player and I would like to see him bit more advanced if you ask me. Jack is on his way back which is a blessing in disguise however we still need that DM someone like Gilberto Silva who would keep his post occupied unlike Song who left us cut open to counter attacks.

Enough of that , big game tomorrow for those of you going take care and look after each other. I will be here in my chair shouting for the lads!

Come on Arsenal!

If you’re going to do a blog at least proof read it. It’s strewn with grammatical and spelling errors. Given you obviously sit in your armchair rather than actually spending time going to support the club, the least you could do is write properly.

Those who can, do. Those who can’t, teach. Those who can’t teach, criticise.

    Ahhh Stoke…
    Land of the knuckle-dragging imbecile.
    The incestuous Arsehole of England
Tony Pulis – the single most moronic dinosaur in World football with his thrill-a-minute tactics based around the ‘hoof’, the ‘long-throw’, and the foul. He makes Sam Allardyce look like Pep Guardiola.
And the lovable Stoke fans. Those bastard sons of cousins, with their obscenities and racism, and their true love of the beautiful game as they dance wildly every time a throw-in is won.

    Fear not football fans.
Despite the constant fouls and long-balls, Arsenal will SMASH this despicable classless bunch of rugby players. And we dont have to go back there again as they will be relegated this season! And what a joy that will be. 0-3 Arsenal!

Current Arsenal players have won nothing, while x Arse player, who have wisely left the club in the last seven years have won an incredible 44 trophies… Fact!!!

Well said Mike….ignore the other plebs (probably AKB’s as most of the Wenger lovers are either yuppy tea drinkers who watch on TV or are season ticket holders who are the new breed Arsenal fans who think balancing the books is better than winning trophies – they don’t realise that balancing the books means making a profit for “Texas Pete” alias Stan Kronke!!)

In truth we need a miracle to happen, in the form of truely ambitious spending to bring in another TOP class striker who can score goals a la RVP who can turn matchs with shear class (did you see RVP’s home debut for ManU yesterday? thats what I mean we need – that is what Wenger and the board sold!! Plus we need a big strong TOP class midfielder (Dembele of Fulham type?) a Left Back who caan Defend! and another centre half…but not another Cygan / Senderos / Squillachi etc). But it won’t happen, Dr Spin Wenger will say more of the usual eg. we have Diaby back and it is like having a new signing – oh hurrah for that! (sarcasm! ) so we have big squad and don’t need any more players, and that he believes that this squad is the best he has ever had, or of course we can challenge for the EPL title and UCL, or finishing in 4th place is being successful, not just winning trophies (sorry that last one he said but he was parroting the words said by Hill-Wood!!).

To think that this squad are anthing near the likes of the real TOP clubs in England let alone the world is a joke! We have sold off a 30 goal a season striker for what? Giroud? Podolski? give me a break these two will be lucky to break into double figures between them – and that is only if Podolski takes the penalties we get!! Without RVP’s goals last year we would have finished just above the relegation zone but we would probably have dropped more points due to pressure and could well have faced the drop – if you don’t believe me work it out for yourself!

We now have NO Top class players, Wenger along with the board are Stan’s puppets and are there solely to make him money, this they have done by selling out the heart of the club.

If we lose or only draw at Stoke this will be the signal for a long hard season. Not only do we have Man U,City,Chelsea above us, we have Newcastle.Liverpool.Sp*rs & Everton all going to be pushing hard at us, I am hoping that Sp*rs struggle a bit under AVB who is an arrogant little man who changes things before thinking, which may affect thier start/season, but Moyes has quietly built a good squad with very little resources (maybe we should get him in as manager ???),Liverpool have a manager who may well actually get them moving for the first times in years, Newxastle have a hard fixture list at the start but then they have a smoother run through to the new year, so I think at least 6 clubs could well finish above us!

A reminder to all play nicely! Mike and Kevin glad you have left some feedback but in this manner we are not getting anywhere! Support the club you silly pants or go and enjoy Le Grove.

Arthur The Gooner, well done, good article. Your point re Le Grove is spot on. I sent a few comments, not agreeing with the writer. He sent me a message full of expletives telling me to get lost, and he was blocking me! This is part of his moderation policy! Spelling mistakes or not, at least you have the balls, to accept all comments. I wish we could get rid of such thick supporters, like Le Grove may be he is a Stoke supporter, in sheep’s clothing.
