Bendtner will stay
Nicklas Bendtner will stay and play for Arsenal next season on the one hand due to the fact that the Gooners failed to find another striker. One the other hand due to the fact that the Dane has huge wage demands and therefore did not manage a transfer away.
“The chance for him to leave now is very small,”
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger said.
“If he comes back well and gets fit, I will use him.”
In fact Bendtner currently earns £52 000 a week. None of the clubs that were interested in his services including Hull City, Malaga and Eintracht Frankfurt were willing to pay that amount of money.
Wenger was so far trying to get Luis Suarez, Karim Benzema and Gonzalo Higuain but none of them agreed to move to the Emirates. Wenger explained:
“We work very hard on that, if we cannot we will not do anything stupid just for the sake of saying that we have done something.”
Therefore he is willing to give Bendtner another chance and is looking forward to continue the training with him. After the September international break the Danish striker will probably return to the squad again.

Arsene Wenger stressed out that
“You need good players in every position, and especially you need an attitude and way to play the game. The players here know the way we want to play and that is important.”
The Danish player is currently the 2nd highest goalscorer at Arsenal FC with 45 goals just after Theo Walcott with 63 goals. So we can wait in suspense for his performance this season.
