Arsenal have completed the signing the Uruguay international midfieler Lucas Torreira from Sampdoria, who is competiting in World Cup with the national side, according to reports. The North London club have been linked with a summer move for the 22-year-old, and it was reported earlier this week that the Gunners had seen their offer worth a whooping £26m (€30m) accepted by Sampdoria for the midfielder. According to new reports, Jack Wilshere is expected to agree a three-year new deal with Arsenal worth in the region of £100,000-a-week. Wilshere, who was left out of Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the Russian World Cup received a slightly improved offer from the Gunners which the England midfielder is believed on the verge of accepting.
