As most of you already know we have been drawn against Barcelona again in the last 16 of the Champions League, this certainly comes to me as no surprise to be honest with you. Deep down for some strange reason I knew we were going to get our Catalan friends and what better opportunity do we need to make amends on that disappointing defeat last season? This is what football is all about, it will be a great and exciting game and I reckon we have a much better chance of getting required result we all...

On Monday, the Arsenal lost a close one to Manchester United 1-0. For some reason, we can’t seem to stop Park Ji-Sung from scoring on us. His header goal was the only point and this was the third game in a row against us that he scored. However, after the game Arsene Wenger was complaining about the pitch being bad and that being the reason the Arsenal won. He said, “On a very bad pitch, the technical quality of the game suffered and that’s why you have seen unusual technical mistakes....

Our loss against The Toon army is rather difficult to take as we should have been sitting two points behind Chelsea and level on points with Man U. Yet again this season we have lost at home in front of our own fans and there was zero effort, zero urgency and zero desire to win the game. Take away nothing from Newcastle they were very well organised at the back and made us look very poor at times especially in the midfield. I couldn’t watch the game from kick off I had to pick up my cousin...

Champions League tonight has finally arrived and I’m looking for a much improved performance from the team all around, if it was just a blip or whatever you want to call it, then tonight is perfect opportunity to lift the spirits ahead of the game on Sunday. We all know by now that Almunia got injured against WBA on Saturday when he made the penalty and didn’t make the trip to Serbia, below par performance from Diaby also didn’t include him in the squad, or maybe he is injured...

Football is a funny and cruel game isn’t it? Midweek Euphoria had every Gooner on top of the world after stuffing Spuds 1:4 at Three Point Lane on Tuesday night. We probably fielded a stronger side than our neighbours but all the same they have thrown in some experienced players too. I’m not here to talk about the Carling Cup game because we have witnessed yet again truly awesome performance  from our lads, I just wanted to remind everyone what it’s like being on top of the...
