Alexandre Lacazette picked up a groin injury against Huddersfield Town and will miss out a meeting with Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United side. The France international striker was handed a starting role in our midweek meeting with Huddersfield Town. Lacazette scored the opening goal in that contest inside three minutes, but was replaced by Olivier Giroud at half-time. Arsenal centre-back Shkodran Mustafi has hit out at the transfer rumours that surrounded him this summer. Barcelona in pole position to sign Mesut Ozil for €20 million

According to reports, Arsenal have given Barcelona all clear to sign Mesut Ozil from Arsenal for €20 million (£17 million) in January. If Arsenal decide to keep Ozil beyond the winter window, it means teams will be able to negotiate a deal with him from January with a view to a free transfer in the summer. Arsenal appear to have finally made their peace with the fact that Alexis Sanchez will not be at the club much longer.
